That's My Dog! E-Cademy ParticipantsOur E-cademy immersion program put experience into action for the benefit of our students and clients. While here you will combine classroom discussions with practical application.
This hands on style of learning involves working with dogs of all ages, breeds and dispositions, as well as handlers from all walks of life.
While studying at the E-cademy you will:

  • Practice skills and techniques while training a variety of dogs of varying dispositions.
  • Participate in private and group lessons.
  • Learn remote collar applications for every aspect of dog behavior including: Dominance aggression, fear issues, shyness and separation anxiety.
  • Learn to utilize food, toys, head halters and other tools in conjunction with this methodology.
  • Examine the psychology behind the TMD approach.
  • Learn the secrets of effective public presentations and demonstrations.
  • Discover networking and marketing ideas that can increase your revenue.

Our training facility is located in beautiful and historic, Dubuque, IA  However, our students and clients come from across the globe to train personally with Robin and learn these cutting edge techniques. We encourage our attendees to bring a dog along for the learning experience. If you do not have access to a green dog one can be provided for you through our work with area shelters and rescues.

10 DAY PROGRAM This program will immerse students into our training and business operations. It is designed to go beyond the basics and take participants through more advanced problem solving ability. Students learn how to set up programs of instruction for private lessons, group lessons and board and train programs. In addition to the basic collar work, students are exposed to agility, directional control and explore various ways to deal with aggression issues. There is also exposure to demonstration techniques and discussion of how to handle commonly asked questions.

The curriculum includes; introducing green dogs to the techniques, teaching both private and group lessons, and honing demonstration skills. We include education on the latest equipment advances, proven marketing strategies, and sales techniques. Significant time is invested learning the communication dynamics involved with teaching dogs and humans alike.
